Lack of Focus....Apparently....
well isnt life fucking grand?

Just when you think everything is golden, some thing comes along and fucks you over....

well to put this bluntly, i was fired today... from RIM

got home, and received a phone call on my cell form a number that i didnt know, so i let it goto voice mail. i listened to it and it was Prior, asking me to call back ASAP. as soon as i realized it was prior i thought 2 things immediately A) i was fired, or B)i was being moved to a different shift. well needless to say option A) was the case. I was told that my postion had been terminated on the ground of the reason "that i was not focusing on the task at hand"

Now let me tell you Reader, i am not one to slack off, i can tell you honestly that i worked my ass off everyday at that job. i was never late, and only missed 2 days due to illness. i have no idea who responcible or why my firing came to be, but all i can say is that i am uderly shocked and appauled. i spoke to a fellow co-worker on msn after the phone call and they too are shocked and confused.

i dont know what else to say other then that my plans for the immidiate future are completely fucked, i had intended to purchase a vehical and i beleive that is highly unlikly now.  i guess i should finish this off with a question to you Reader:

Am i wrong to feel this is unfair? or am i not allowed to complain being that i am only a "temp"?

while part of me thinks its a "temp" thing, the other part of me def. feels you should feel ripped off. I know Mitch Buehler. If there is one thing he is not, its "unfocused". you're one of the hardest working guys I know. I dont know what RIM classifies as un-focused but clearly it requires SUPER focus that only superman has.

honestly dude, it sounds like a poor excuse to get rid of the young new guy...

I did the seasonal thing over at Best Buy and all the long-term employees *and even the supervisors* said that without a doubt I'd be staying on past Christmas.

Then one day my name didn't show up on the schedule. I called them and asked if I still worked there.
"The initial response was no, but we had some people quit so we have to reconsider. Can we call you Monday?"
Pfft. After that the chick who was supposed to call me got sick for 4 days or something and I never got my call.
I DID however receive a letter in the mail about a week later showing how much I made with the "Not returning" box x'd out.

I feel your pain, dude. I really do. They always keep on the ass-clowns who dick around and don't do anything, or you know, can never work. I know for a fact that you're the last person to be a tool at work! So rant away, my friend! Rant until you can no longer rant... And then maybe have a cry. Then just be squinty-eyed as you pass them.

hey man at least i got a phone call lol, you got nothin but a letter. but ive been talking to some of my former co-workers and they are a little mifted casue clearly i didnt deserve to be let go.
